Finally back to civilization and got a rental for the weekend from Hertz. Originally picked out cheapest possible car for $10 a day plus fees. They said hey we have an upgrade to a Mercedes Benz SLK250 for $25 a day (total for the 3 days went from $49 to $100). Totally worth it! 2 seater convertible in socal so this is perfect. Headed to Lake Elsinore to stay and will be hitting up Oceanside one day and Laguna Beach the next. Maybe dinner in San Diego. Should be a fun trip! Car review next week for sure.
